Unlike conventional Y strainers, a magnetic Y strainer incorporates a magnetic element within its structure. This magnetic rod attracts ferrous particles or contaminants present in the fluid stream. Alongside the magnetic element, the strainer contains a filtration mesh.

This mesh is designed to capture particles that are not attracted by the magnet, providing dual filtration capabilities. This strainer has an easily removable cap to access the magnetic rod and mesh filter body. Available with 22mm or 28mm compression fitting options.

By combining magnetic attraction with mechanical filtration, magnetic Y strainers offer an effective solution for maintaining the cleanliness and integrity of fluid systems.
